Last week we witnessed a great campaign, featuring mischief from Anurag Kashyap's renegade ingenuity.
First, they got the industry excited about the impending OTT App SRK+ with an announcement.
But wait a minute — first things first. This is how it went down.
Salman Khan congratulated Shah Rukh on the launch of his OTT app in a tweet. And now he's uploaded other tweet in which he praises Khan's sense of humor.
Shah Rukh Khan recently sent fans into a hysteria when he announced the launching of his own OTT platform, named SRK+. However, a recent video published by King Khan suggests that SRK+ is not an OTT platform, but rather a new partnership with Disney+Hostar.
The new commercial also included filmmaker Anurag Kashyap, who had previously stated that he was thrilled to be working with Khan.
As soon as the video was uploaded, Ajay Devgn posted it on his social media accounts and participated in some amusing banter with SRK.

Kashyap's content ideas clearly didn't make the cut because they've already been used in several movies and episodes on Disney+ Hotsrar. As a result, other firms, like Phone Pe, Dunzo, Zomato, Spotify India, Tinder India, and Nykaa, among others, joined on the #ThodaRukShahRukh bandwagon and offered suggestions for alternative app concepts.
As it is said, “The best Marketing doesn’t feel like Marketing”, Disney + Hotstar has once again proved that they are the Badshah of Marketing (Pun Intended) :)
